John Mainella, an enterprising youth from the countryside near Naples, began making bread in a small shop in downtown Troy. Soon the unique flavor of his special breads began to attract a small but enthusiastic following. Business grew rapidly as cakes and pastries were added to his line of bakery items. Today Bella Napoli products, still produced by the Mainella family and dedicated employees, have achieved a reputation far and wide for their unforgettable taste. We have two stores; one in Latham, NY and one in Troy, NY.

This bakery is the truth!!! Everything is fresh, delicious and fairly priced. The staff is always extremely courteous, and provides service with a smile. Highly recommend coming here over a chain donut place!

I initially came here searching for desserts, but I arrived around lunch time so I helped myself to a sandwich as well and I must say… their sandwiches are AMAZING. Of course I grabbed some dessert on the way out and I was so pleased. One of the best bakeries that I’ve been to around Albany!

Christmas wreath bruschettas are available this week! The bruschettas are veggie and cheese based. To heat it up, remove the tray and place in a 350 degree oven for 5-7 minutes until it’s done. Reheat the marinara sauce in a microwavable container as well. Perfect for any holiday gathering!🎁
